Spokencode prepared a full content inventory of the website, over 65 pages. The content inventory helped determine how many pages and page types needed to be migrated or deprecated.
The client was using a WordPress backup plugin. These plugins make copies of the necessary database tables in the same database, rather than making a copy of the entire environment. They also make duplicate media. Spokencode scanned form any unused and duplicate media to reduce the file size of the overall project.
Spokencode identified over 26 unique modules that would need to be rebuilt in the new design.
Responsive WordPress Theme
The design files were given provided in Sketch. Spokencode exported all of the necessary assets.
Spokencode’s point of contact was on an international schedule. Trello was used to keep the project moving with agile, Kanban-style task management. All parties stayed in sync leaving notes, status updates and attachments along the way.
Beaver Builder Page Builder
There are many WordPress page builders. Spokencode uses Beaver Builder and Beaver Themer to build themes. The builder provides the drag & drop layouts & modules and themer provide the display controls.
